Why We Like It

Though its massive size and corporate vibe may not appeal to everyone, the five-star property excels in comfort and service. Bonuses include the sprawling spa, which received a European Design Award, and the Michelin-starred restaurant, Hugo’s, with gorgeous panoramic views of the city and nearby zoo.

Fodor's Expert Review

From the heavily trafficked street, the behemoth “Inter Conti,” the epitome of old West Berlin, evokes the Louvre with its glass pyramid entrance. There are 558 rooms and suites in the thoroughly contemporary corporate hotel; the Club rooms on the seventh and eighth floors have a private check-in area, and come with their own lounge, meeting rooms and other extras. The spa’s sauna, indoor pool and summer terrace, plus the Michelin-starred restaurant, Hugo’s, are incentives to stick around the property.
