Koh-i-noor
This iconic Czech stationery and art supplies brand has two outposts in Nové Mĕsto—one on Na příkopě and the other here on Vodičkova—and both are pleasant, airy places to nab a bit of history. The brand, established in 1790, was the first to patent modern pencil lead and pioneered colored pencils, too, and it now sells all of the art kits you would expect as well as cute kids' drawing equipment, along with an unexpected gorilla made of drawing pencils.
