Hotel Karlštejn
The best "proper" hotel in town, the Karlštejn offers 11 modern but pared-down rooms. All rooms are touted as eco-friendly, with recycling bins and automatic lighting, and some offer lovely castle views. Room 8 is deluxe; in other words, it's a little bigger and with a huge corner bathtub. Decor is generally basic—think wood furnishings, white linens, and an LCD TV—but it's good value for the area.
