In contrast to the other, more tranquil Grace Bay resorts, this property has a vibrant party atmosphere with nightly entertainment and even a flying trapeze—it caters to fun-loving singles and couples, as it has a no-child policy. That said, the resort attracts a diverse crowd, including longtime Club Med aficionados who fly in from North America and Europe for the “club” that started it all; water sports has always been the draw in what was the area's first major resort, but many now come to “join the circus." The best off-the-beach snorkeling directly in front of Coral Gardens makes this resort and its large condo units a very popular spot. Each suite has floor-to-ceiling sliding windows, some with full sweeping views of the entire bay. Be sure to check their site plan when booking, as the on-site restaurant, Somewhere, partially blocks the view of several units, and late-night gatherings can create a less-than-peaceful atmosphere. With its close proximity to the ocean’s edge, it is amazing that the gardens and property have continued to look manicured and well taken care of over the years. All one- to three-bedroom condo-style rooms have bamboo-and-wicker furnishings with tropical prints; couches and beds are chosen for comfort. Throughout the resort, bathrooms include spacious showers, and the Ocean Club Grand suites have soaker tubs. There are two pools on the property, and guests have access to the fitness center and spa at the associated resort, the Reef Residences. It is worth noting that the two resorts share facilities, even though there are separate websites and check-in receptions; be sure you know what you are booking when contacting reservations. There's a seven-night minimum during peak season, and a three-night minimum at other times. Book for a week and your rate includes two 20-minute de-stress massages.

On their own secluded stretch of beach, these three two-bedroom apartments make a quiet getaway that is far enough from the cruise-ship port to give you some peace and quiet but still within walking distance of Duke and Front streets. The apartments are decorated with wicker and colorful Haitian paintings; there are overstuffed chairs on the covered patio. The beach has its own secluded cove, so you'll definitely feel out of the fray. Grand Turk is quiet and laid-back, with plenty of Old Caribbean charm, just like this complex.

This resort in the middle of the hub offers easy access to nearby shops and restaurants, and is within close walking distance of Grace Bay Beach. It consists of 12 one-bedroom apartment-style lodgings, all with views of the lushly landscaped pool. Rooms are simple, but have a light and breezy Caribbean feel. A full kitchen and en-suite washer/dryer offers money-saving convenience that allows the more budget-conscious traveler a way to enjoy Grace Bay, which is just steps away. There's no need for a rental car if you stay here because the resort is so centrally located.

This small, reasonably priced condo complex right next door to Saltmills Plaza and within walking distance of many restaurants and Graceway IGA, is in the heart of it all—and within only a few minutes' walk of the beach. The spacious two- and three-bedroom townhouses are decorated with an island vibe, each with a full kitchen. The club provides beach towels and will lend you umbrellas to take to the beach. 

Modern and chic, this Italian-influenced condo complex with its minimalistic lines reminds one of a Miami South Beach hotel, minus the crowds. Le Vele is centrally located on Grace Bay Beach and consists of 22 ultra-spacious one-, two-, and three-bedroom condominiums to choose from. Each unit, decorated in tropical hues with rich dark-wood accents, has an oversize balcony or patio to take ultimate advantage of phenomenal ocean views. 

Although not on the beach, this wonderful complex of villas is the only resort-style accommodation on the magical waters of Chalk Sound National Park, with nearby Sapodilla and Taylor Bays. Neptune Villas consists of two-bedroom, two-bath vaulted-ceiling cottages with either Chalk Sound or garden views. The owners have taken this older property that once consisted of long-term rentals and lovingly refurbished it into luxurious accommodations featuring full glass and stainless kitchens, high-end furnishings including poster beds, rich wood cabinetry, and marble bathrooms—one with shower and the other with tub. Each unit has three private balconies to take in a variety of views; some have a fourth with a hammock to while away a lazy afternoon. Jalousie windows allow fresh ocean breezes through to cool, and there are fans and AC as alternatives. The resort also offers a superb restaurant, Las Brisas, overlooking the sound, and a sunset pontoon boat excursion to get you out on the water. With midweek maid service, this little gem is perfect for two couples or a family traveling together.

Miles from nowhere, this resort should be your destination if you need complete solitude. In fact, it is so isolated that the paved road ends before you reach the front gates (it continues as packed sand). The Spanish-style resort itself is quite nice, with white walls and arches, red-tile roofs, and lovely landscaping. Rooms are spacious, with full kitchens and large balconies, many with amazing ocean views. Because it's condo-style, all units are individually owned and decorated. The pool is centrally located—oceanside—and there's even a hot tub. The beach here is natural and wild, but the resort staff rakes it daily. Although this is not Grace Bay, it is the westernmost extension of Provo’s beautiful north shore. Its long, uninterrupted stretch of sand goes for miles, with a wonderful little grassy vehicle track that parallels the shoreline, both great for nature walks. You definitely need a car if you stay here; there is no restaurant, and the nearest grocery store is a 20-minute drive away. You are truly totally isolated, with no services for miles and miles.

Enormous, locally painted pictures of hibiscus make a striking first impression as you enter the reception area at one of the island's most well-established condominium resorts, which enjoys a quiet location away from busier developments. Regular shuttles run along the ½-mile (1-km) stretch of Grace Bay Beach between two artfully landscaped sister properties, Ocean Club (popularly known as Ocean Club East) and Ocean Club West. Plenty of beach and pool toys make Ocean Club a great family option.

Its central location and large, affordable, comfortable rooms make this resort popular with vacationers. Regular shuttles run along the 1/2-mile (1-km) stretch of Grace Bay Beach between two artfully landscaped sister properties, Ocean Club (popularly known as Ocean Club "East") and Ocean Club West, from 6 am to 10:30 pm.
