An institution on Provo for many years, this brightly colored beach shack is justifiably famous for its conch and seafood. The conch is fished fresh out of the shallows and broiled, spiced, cracked, or fried to absolute perfection. This is the freshest conch anywhere on the island, as the staff collect it from their “pens” several times a day as needed. If you don't wish to try this island delicacy, there are a few chicken dishes to choose from, as well as their blackened grouper. They also have Johnny fries, a local tradition of french fries with a black-bean-and-local-pepper sauce. Give them a call to find out when they offer live music from 7 to 10 pm (Hump and Bump Night) or have a DJ on-site. You get to dine with your feet in the sand or on a wooden deck, right on the water’s edge.
