Fodor's Expert Review
You can save money by staying slightly away from the beach without giving up comfort or location. Perched on a hill overlooking Turtle Cove, most rooms and the two hotel pools of La Vista Azul have sweeping views all the way down Grace Bay overlooking the marina. The red-tile roof contrasts with the turquoise water. Rooms are modern and more than comfortable, with upscale furnishings, many with fully equipped kitchens, and travertine floors. Even the smallest studios are spacious, starting at 700 square feet. The resort is within walking distance of numerous restaurants and some of the island's best off-the-beach snorkeling.

There are four room categories to consider, all with the choice of either ocean or courtyard views. Be sure to state your preference when booking. Although studios are often thought of as the smallest and most basic in the hotel industry, here at La Vista Azul, studios are spacious and well-appointed, all with fully equipped kitchens and a roomy sitting area. The one- and two- queen bed rooms, are the most economical choice within the hotel. They feature mini bars and microwaves rather than the full kitchen, and a work desk rather than seating. Rooms are spacious, with the two queen bed option the perfect alternative for two couples traveling together on a tighter budget. The One Bedroom Suite offers separate sleeping quarters with a hide-a-bed as part of the comfortable sitting area. Each has a fully equipped kitchen and separate dining area, as well as an over-sized balcony - thus a good option for those wishing to do some entertaining while on holiday.
Studios, as well as the One and Two Bed Queen Rooms, offer modern bathrooms with large showers. The One Bedroom Suite has both a bath and a large shower. La Vista Azul includes a lovely product line with each stay.
