Fodor's Expert Review Tangerine
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
The dining room opens onto an oceanfront terrace, where constant breezes are as much a part of the dreamy scene as the muted-orange lighting and cream walls. This place is all about sensual pleasures, so it's no surprise that many of the menu descriptions are a bit risqué. (A plate with three types of marinated fish is named, quite simply, "Threesome.") Appetizers such as roasted pumpkin soup with lemongrass foam and crispy wild mushroom dumplings are seductive but overpriced. Artful entrées include chicken breast stuffed with eggplant puree or pan-seared sea bass with sea-urchin butter sauce.
