Willowy palms, hardwood furnishings, a churchlike profusion of candles and torches, whirring paddle fans, wicker, lacquered bamboo, and picture windows opening onto Seven Mile Beach pay tribute to Hemingway's tropical travels. There's an intriguing Latin/Pacific Rim gloss to the preparations, though seafood is the standby (the chefs dub it "sea-to-table cuisine"), from cioppino to the oyster trilogy to an aquatic tapas sampler. Fish can be prepared to your preference, with a choice of sauces (citrus-olive salsa, tamarind chutney, pico de gallo, jerk tropical salsa, ginger soy reduction, and passion-fruit beurre blanc). The key lime pie does justice to the restaurant's namesake. Saturday night live jazz is extremely popular.
