The Best Place to Shop in Bridgetown, Barbados

Background Illustration for Shopping

Bridgetown's Broad Street is the primary downtown shopping area. DaCosta Manning Mall, in the historic Colonnade Building on Broad Street, has more than 25 shops that sell everything from Piaget watches to postcards; across the street, Mall 34 has 22 shops where you can buy duty-free goods, souvenirs, and snacks. At the cruise-ship terminal shopping arcade, passengers can buy both duty-free goods and Barbadian-made crafts at more than 30 boutiques and a dozen vendor carts and stalls. And the airport departure lounge is a veritable shopping mall.

Bridgetown Duty Free

The main store on Broad Street sells an array of clothing for men, women, and children; makeup and perfume; jewelry; and souvenirs and luxury goods at duty-free prices. Branches are at Holetown's Sunset Crest mall on the West Coast, at the Vista shopping complex in Worthing, and at Sheraton Mall in Sargeants on the South Coast; the airport departure lounge and cruise ship terminal also each have a boutique.
