The largest hotel in Marsh Harbour has a fresh look and feel following a major post–Hurricane Dorian overhaul. The resort centers on its marina and is set on 40 manicured acres overlooking the Sea of Abaco, five minutes from the Marsh Harbour airport or a short ferry ride away from Hope Town on Elbow Cay. The spacious ocean-view rooms have natural stone floors, marble wet bars, built-in hair dryers, and in-room cable TV, with Wi-Fi throughout the sprawling grounds. Use of nonmotorized water-sports equipment is complimentary. Lounge poolside or enjoy fruity rum drinks at the bar while your kids explore the beach playground.

There's nothing fancy about this all-suites motel, but its rooms are clean and spacious. Each suite includes two bedrooms, one bathroom, a lounge area, and a basic kitchenette. There are no other amenities on-site, but if you are looking for a spot to stay on the mainland while you explore the surrounding cays, this is a good option in a town where options are few and far between.

Ideal for families and small groups, these two- to five-bedroom condos are right on the famous Treasure Cay beach. Interiors vary, but each unit has ceramic-tile floors and stylish furniture with colorful accents, as well as a fully equipped kitchen and a large living room. All also have a screened-in patio or balcony overlooking the azure ocean and the grounds, which are landscaped with tropical palms. Like most Treasure Cay properties, Bahama Beach Club suffered extensive damage as a result of Hurricane Dorian in 2019, but a couple years of hard work have brought this spot back to life. This simple, no-frills motel is ideal if you plan to spend your days exploring the mainland by car or the surrounding cays by ferry or boat and just need a place for a shower and a good sleep before starting all over the next day. It's about the only thing left on what was once a bustling tourist strip following Hurricane Dorian's direct hit. Clean and spacious rooms include two full beds or a queen and single bed and all the basic amenities you'll need for your home base. Outside the rooms is a shared deck with outdoor furniture. You won't find a less expensive room in such a prime spot.

Run by exceptionally friendly and attentive owners and staff, this intimate compound has six spacious villas with pool or garden views. Kitchens are fully equipped, and the supermarket is about a 10-minute walk away. Restaurants, marinas, bars, and a dive shop are just outside the front door. For families or groups on a budget, this is a great option.

On a quiet private peninsula opposite the main settlement of Marsh Harbour sit seven waterfront clapboard cottages cheerily painted in pale pink, yellow, blue, and green. Inside the air-conditioned rooms are rattan furnishings with pastel cushions and porcelain tile floors. A small sand beach is out front, and the cottages are near Mermaid Reef, a prime snorkeling spot. There's no restaurant on-site, but there are eateries within walking distance at the Marsh Harbour Marina; for other options, you'll need to rent a car or, better yet, a small runabout, which you can tie up for free at the 100-foot dock.

With harbor views, luxuriously decorated rooms and suites, and the only restaurant and swimming pool in Schooner Bay right downstairs, this quaint bed-and-breakfast inn is the perfect spot for visitors who want to be taken care of. Three suites are located in the main three-story house, while the rooms are situated in two small cottages right out back. Two beaches—one perfect for lounging or paddleboarding (just grab a board and head into the water), the other great for snorkeling—and a 50-acre protected forest with well-marked walking trails are all just a quick golf-cart ride or five-minute walk away. The Dining Room is the only full-service restaurant in the community serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner (dinner is served Thursday through Sunday only). The menu is often determined by what looks good at the community farm, and they use as much locally sourced product as possible. 

Many of the homes and cottages in this designer community are available for rent. All are beautifully decorated and fully outfitted with everything you'd need in a vacation home. Select from two-, three-, or four-bedroom homes that are all just a quick walk to the four pristine white-sand beaches accessible only from within Schooner Bay. Full provisioning is available, or you can head on down to the tiny general store and the community farm to stock up. There are five miles of marked trails through the 50-acre protected hardwood forest and kayaks and paddleboards waiting on the beach. Once dinner is done, hike up to the iron shore (exposed coral reef) for some of the most incredible stargazing outside of a planetarium. Cars must be parked at the community entrance. From there you can only enter the village on foot or by bicycle or golf cart.

Completely rebuilt and expanded after Hurricane Dorian, this 17-room three-story marina hotel is a great choice for tourists and business travelers alike. Choose from a mix of 17 rooms—some rooms, some suites, and three 2-bed, 2-bath apartments. Each room is tastefully decorated and includes either two queens or a single king bed. The 72-slip marina, one of Marsh Harbour's busiest, with gas and diesel available, is The Bahamas' headquarters for the Navigare catamaran charter service. Dream Yacht and TradeWinds are also based here. Top restaurants and shopping are within easy walking distance. 

Although The Delphi Club is billed as a bonefishing lodge, it's a great middle-of-nowhere bed-and-breakfast perfect for anyone looking to get away from it all but not willing to give up style or comfort. The plantation-style lodge boasts a grand great room, where guests gather for multicourse meals at a long wooden table that seats 24 and then retire to one of the comfy couches, the library (where the only television on-property is hardly ever turned on), or a chair on the wide wraparound balcony that offers incredible ocean views. Days are filled with bonefishing or deep-sea fishing for the anglers, bird-watching, or lounging poolside or on the long, private white-sand beach below.  Nonguests can join the group for dinners if space is available. Dinner reservations are essential and must be made before noon that day.

Treasure Cay is known for its 18-hole golf course, one of the few open to the public in Abaco; its first-class 150-slip marina; and its location across the street from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The property has town house–style accommodations set along the marina's boardwalk that can be blocked off into one-, two-, or three-bedroom units. Depending on the configuration, you may have full-size refrigerators, toaster ovens, and small dining counters or an upstairs town house with vaulted ceilings, spacious living–dining area, full kitchens, loft bedroom, and a balcony. New furnishings and other upgrades have given this resort a breath of fresh air. The indoor-outdoor Spinnaker's Ocean Grille & Wine Bar serves Bahamian and Continental cuisine. A more casual, kid-friendly option is pizza night on Thursday at the Tipsy Seagull Pool Bar, also a popular happy-hour destination, and there's live music and dancing three times a week. The resort can arrange fishing, diving, and island excursions.
