Grand Bahama Island

For evening and late-night entertainment, Port Lucaya is filled with restaurants and bars, and there's live entertainment in the middle square throughout the week, but specifically on Friday and Saturday nights. Other options include bonfire beach parties at Taino by the Sea, the Wednesday-night fish fry at Smith’s Point, or taking a sunset cruise through the canals.

This trendy spot on the waterfront at Pelican Bay Hotel is a popular evening and late-night watering hole with the local expat crowd, with swim-up seating at the adjacent pool. Sip high-end tasting rums or fresh-squeezed cocktails like the Silver Fox (lime juice, homemade simple syrup, and vodka). The only food option is their savory meat pies. Call ahead to place your order as they tend to run out early.

The Bahama Mama, which is owned and operated by Superior Watersports, hosts some of the most unique nightlife in Grand Bahama. In addition to the popular sunset "booze cruises" during the month of March for spring breakers, the Bahama Mama offers a surf-and-turf dinner with a colorful "native" show (a local term used to indicate entertainment with a traditional cultural flair); both wine and Bahama Mama rum punch are unlimited all night. The Sunset Cruise and Show is for adults only. Reservations are essential. Both cruises are offered Wednesday and Friday. In addition to their various Bahama Mama cruises, Superior Watersports offers a daytime Seaworld Explorer Semi-Submarine experience, snorkeling trips, and island tours.
