When to Go to Fiji

High Season Avoid the Christmas school holidays of Australia and New Zealand, which run mid-December through early February. Also avoid late November, when the phenomenon of "Schoolies Week" happens–-flocks of down-under high school students head to far-flung island paradises like Fiji for a couple of weeks R&R after final exams.

Low Season Early December and late February and March are quieter because potential northern hemisphere travelers are still on the slopes.

Value Season The wetter months (November–March) offer the best chance of finding a good deal.
