Freycinet Lodge
With cabin-style accommodations scattered through the densely wooded forest overlooking Great Oyster Bay, this exceptional eco-lodge—hidden inside the boundaries of Freycinet National Park—has a remote setting that allows for an intimate connection with the surrounding scenic environment. The cabins range from relatively simple one-bedroom units to the luxurious Coastal Pavilion, which has floor-to-ceiling glass walls and a complimentary minibar. All have private balconies and are outfitted with Tasmanian wood furnishings. The on-site Bay Restaurant has breathtaking sunset views, as well as an extensive wine list. The more casual Richardson's Bistro is the place for light lunches and coffee, while Hazards Bar and Lounge is a relaxing place to swap stories or curl up with a book by the open fire.
