Fodor's Expert Review Zeavola
11 Moo 8, Koh Phi Phi, Krabi, 81000, Thailand Fodor's Choice
This resort takes its name from a flower, the name of which translates to "love of the sea," which certainly is fitting, since the water off the powdery white-sand Laem Tong Beach is simply stunning. From the beach, sandy garden paths meander between semi-secluded teak villas with outdoor sala entryways. Though the resort has modern amenities, there's a decided old-world charm to the place: baths have small mirrors and exterior iron plumbing, and beds have cream-colored mosquito nets. Chill out by the sea to relaxing tunes piped through all-weather Bose speakers. You can even relax on a simple mat outside your villa while fresh coffee percolates. Need privacy? Flick a switch, and bamboo shades enclose your sala.
