The Best Hotel in Hongkou and Putuo, Shanghai

With a black-and-gold color scheme and spacious, opulently outfitted rooms, the Bellagio pairs Las Vegas sparkle with classic Shanghai views of Suzhou Creek and the Pudong skyline. It's slightly out of the way, set in Hongkou just north of the Bund, and although the area is being developed, there's not too much within easy walking distance.
