Fodor's Expert Review Chicha
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
Expect complex, chili-fueled flavors from Hong Kong’s first Peruvian restaurant. The menu has multicultural influences, from Chinese-style lomo saltado (a beef, scallion, and rice stir-fry) to the Spanish paella-like marisco jugoso flavored with an umami sea urchin and citrus reduction. Be sure to order the ceviche (cured raw seafood) and a platter of anticuchos (grilled skewers) to share; the cod with ponzu miso and chili aioli is close to addictive. If you want to cap your meal off in true Peruvian fashion, finish with a pisco sour at the bar.
