The Salvation Army Booth Lodge
At this surprisingly pleasant budget retreat operated by the Salvation Army, everything is bright and clean, from the walls to the starched sheets on the firm double beds in the Spartan but large rooms. The coffee shop serves buffets and has a small, outdoor balcony overlooking the neighborhood. There's not much action in the immediate neighborhood, but transport by subway and bus is a breeze and a 10-minute walk brings you to the heart of the Mong Kok shopping frenzy.
