On-site dining is available, but lots of restaurants and bars are also nearby; the coast and center of the old town are a quick cab ride away.

The plant-trimmed terrace, restaurant, and bar are all excellent.

There’s direct access to the beach, but if you’re looking for other daytime activities, boat trips on the lagoon (possibly combined with a bracing walk on the northern promontory) can be organized. This sleek luxury hotel is tantamount to a palace on a splendid beach—one where you can watch surfers, chat with fishermen, and soak in the crashing Atlantic before retiring to a tasteful room that is well-appointed and well-equipped. For straight relaxation far from the madding crowd, it's an excellent option; however, it can fall short of stellar in its dining and service.

It may be centrally located but this large Moorish-style hotel is set in a flower-filled garden laced with walkways. The elegant guest rooms marry traditional and contemporary elements and its classic arches are beautifully decorated with carved plasterwork. There are five on-site restaurants—La Maison Arabe specializes in Moroccan dishes and The Imperial offers French cuisine; there’s a jazz bar and lounge bar, too.

Drawing on the Art Deco flavor of Casablanca's history, this exquisite hotel combines fabulous interior design aspects of the 1920s with modern facilities, such as in a built-in TV in the mirror above the bathtub, and supercomfortable beds. There are three elegant bars (one in the beautiful garden), the Pavilion restaurant with its Jasmin Terrace for breakfast, and the chic Brasserie du Boulevard for lunch or dinner. Mazagan is a spectacular seaside resort between Azemmour and El Jadida. Built over more than 500 acres, it changed the definition of luxury accommodations on this part of the coast. The family-friendly resort is a full-service operation with lots to keep both adults and kids occupied. Facilities include 11 restaurants, numerous swimming pools, a high-end spa, a casino, a top-notch golf course, a variety of organized water sports and activities, plus access to a breathtaking beach.

This luxury hotel has large, well-equipped rooms that are decorated in a classy contemporary style. Views abound over the lush greens of its 18-hole golf course to the Atlantic beyond. There are several restaurants on-site as well as great recreational facilities—including a pair of pools (one indoors, one out) and a fabulous spa. Note that the hotel is in a quiet area north of El Jadida, on the right as you drive south. It's out of the range of the town's petits taxis, but you can charter a grand taxi to get you there.

Containing just five pretty but compact rooms, this riad gives tradition a twist by focusing on contemporary decor while still highlighting the carefully preserved features of the ancient building it inhabits. There's a roof terrace with a sauna and massage room but no on-site restaurant (on the upside, breakfast is included and other home-cooked Moroccan meals can be ordered in advance).
