With Thanksgiving coming soon, the holiday season is getting into full swing. And while your dance card may be filling up with parties and gift shopping and family obligations, remember to take a break from the hustle and bustle. And what better way to do it than taking a stroll down San Antonio’s Ford Fiesta de las Luminarias.
Starting December 2, three miles of the River Walk along the San Antonio River will be lined with more than 2,000 luminaries. Luminarias are traditional Mexican Christmas lanterns made up of a simple white bag, sand, and a single candle. What better way to get in the Christmas spirit than cozying up with a warm beverage and some peaceful, holiday cheer?
