Maria Cristina Castellucci

Maria Cristina Castellucci is an Italian-Danish travel writer who primarily focuses on her two beloved places: Sicily, where she currently resides, and Denmark, her childhood home. She obtained her degree from the University of Palermo, majoring in English and German, as well as studying History and Sicilian Culture and Traditions. With over twenty years of experience, she has served as the editor-in-chief of Sikania, a prominent Sicilian travel magazine. Maria Cristina is a regular contributor to Guide di Repubblica, a travel guide series dedicated to Italy, and also contributes to travel magazines such as Bell'Italia and Bell'Europa. Additionally, she contributes to the travel section of the Danish newspaper Politiken. Maria Cristina has authored two books: "Sicilia – Emozioni dal Cielo," in collaboration with photographer Antonio Attini, and "Danimarca – Il cuore nobile d'Europa," both published by White Star. Leveraging her extensive knowledge of the Sicilian territory, she collaborates with a local tour operator, crafting compelling tour proposals for foreign visitors exploring the island.
