Hugh Wilson

Hugh left Wall Street in 1999, and received his MFA in painting in 2004. He traveled from 2006-2014 in remote, often marginalized communities, making portraits from life. He is currently working on a new body of work and writing a book related to his travels. As a volunteer, teaches poetry at a local juvenile detention center and holds an annual poetry contest there through the Hugh Sarah Poetry Foundation.
