Carrie Bell

Carrie Bell is a California native and Los Angeles-based freelance writer who has covered travel, entertainment/celebrities, wellness, weddings, and random general interest topics for both print and online outlets for more than a decade. After earning a journalism degree at Humboldt State in three years, her work has appeared in People, Yahoo, Bridal Guide, Reader’s Digest, POPSUGAR, Destination Weddings + Honeymoons, Cosmopolitan, Entertainment Weekly, and Refinery29. She’s currently the LA and Southern California expert at TripSavvy and wrote a book (The Bathtub Reader). In her quest to amass a kickass snowglobe collection, she’s visited five continents, seven Canadian provinces, 40 states, and 42 countries. She never turns down dairy products, pizza, or breakfast burritos and jumps at the chance to see animals in the wild, kayak, visit a national park, play board games, ride her bike, go wine tasting, debate movies, get a massage, stroll through a tourist trap/bizarre museum, or chase waterfalls.
