Is this the best eggplant dish I've ever eaten?  I think so:   Peeled eggplant with rectangular cube of honeycomb and caramelized goat cheese, on which the eggplant rests.....a million "wows!"

From the specials menu:  "Mosquito," crisply fried mix of the tiniest crabs you ever saw (I was amazed by how tiny they were when I saw them raw in the market the next day) and equally little shrimp...ailioli...could anything be better?  Yes, maybe, cause most of the dish was the fry and there was not much of the critter to savor..parnter tried and did not like...no surprise there..

Maybe the best dish of our entire trip; duck foie (pasties de higado) sandwiched between crackers bread with sweet compote of boniato (sweet potatoes).   I ordered two per person but the owner's wife told us we needed one, each.    Heaven in my mouth....
