Less than a third of the sugar in commercial products but still sweet enough, with the lovely complex flavors of garlic, clove, cinnamon, Vidalia onion, a combination of red wine and red balsamic vinegars, with a hint of my secret ingredient that gives it a final bright note: boiled cider. I’ll probably end up in a street corner drinking this out of a bottle in a paper bag :)

Whoever said life is too short to stuff a mushroom never had there. Italian sausage, fresh sage, thyme and oregano, Parmesan cheese, egg, and ground up bakenets instead of panko. We are having a later supper tonight of steak and these.
