Sauteing yellow crookneck summer squash with Vidalia onions. Well, actually this is pretty much boiling them together. When the water is gone, toss in some butter to saute and caramelize a bit. Serve with sliced tomatoes and whatever else is around. My favorite summer meal forever.

Cora, the navigator, with tiny pup until he sister moves to the back. 2nd pic = the drool. She'd do that for about 5 minutes but was silent. There was no restlessness or whining. About 5 minutes into the ride (about 2.5 hours) she would stop. Sleeping in the front seat with her other sister napping next to her. She prefers to sit in the front and watches / navigates when there's stops or turns.
