Yosemite to Carmel/Big Sur
Due to problems finding a place to stay in Carmel/Monterey - I'm looking possibly at going all the way from Yosemite to Big Sur.
How long would the drive from Yosemite to Carmel be?

Yosemite to Carmel - about 4 hours, maybe 4 1/2. Add another hour to Big Sur. Big Sur is actually a long stretch of coastline, but most of civilization in Big Sur is about and hour south of Carmel.
