Where's the Bear?

So I guess the dead bear thread has gone to Fodor's Valhalla. And yet the cockroach one lives on. Decisions, decisions, decisions...ah the trials of a Fodor's editor.

Well, the road thread is about LUGGAGE, so it's travel-related.

So I take it that some wanted to bear arms while others wanted to arm bears?

Apparently the line is drawn at criticizing parents who let their children play with guns (ironic since I think I've seen posters suggest shooting noisy children on overseas flights!)

Actually, I thought PETA was getting ready to jump in. Besides, most of us have far more experience with cockroaches in hotel rooms than bears. ;-)

I've seen a Chicago Bear and talked to each in person several times, including Walter Payton. Does that count?

I knew better than to get involved with that one.

In Oregon they just found a 150 lb bear living as a pet in a private home -
apparently the owners let the bear wander around the house freely -
Weirder than weird -
bear has now been removed from home
