Heidi, If you're talking about the Warwick Hotel in downtown Seattle, here's what I can say...
It appears to be three blocks from Westlake Center (a shopping center), which is where you could catch the monorail. I don't know of any Westlake Arena.
If you meant Key Arena (where the Seattle Sonics play) instead of Westlake Arena, that's in Seattle Center--which you'd get to via the monorail. (The monorail travels between Westlake Center and Seattle Center, with no stops in-between.)
I don't know of anybody who's stayed at the Warwick, but in the "Rants and Raves" section of this site the only person who reported on it gave it an overall score of 3.4 (out of 5) and a value score of 4.
Four people reported on the Warwick at Seattle Citysearch, all of them giving it 4 stars (the highest rating). Here's a link to the reviews:

There are tons of good restaurants downtown. Wild Ginger is one of my favorites, somebody else in another thread mentioned Ikon (might be Icon). You're not too far from Pike Place Market, which is surrounded by plenty of restaurants. There are lots of restaurants next to Seattle Center, too.
Hope this helps...
