vacation recommendations

I'm trying to find a place that my husband and I can go (without the kids) for 3-4 days in March - Apr, someplace warm and sunny. We live in the NE and I don't really want to travel on a plane more than 3 hours. Oh yeah, and I don't want to spend too much on this trip. Any ideas?! They are all appreciated!!

Sanibel or Captiva Island, Florida.
March-April (moreso March) is excellent warm weather. Fly into Ft. Myers and you're a 45 minute drive away.

Bahamas, Orbitz has some good rates ($207 R/T), right now. Or, not as warm but nicer - Bermuda. Liberty travel has some good deals for Bermuda. It won't be swimming weather in March, but should still be warm.

Also South Beach would be fun and relatively inexpensive for flights, plus the hotels are always on the discount sites.

Natchez, Mississippi does their Spring Pilgrimage Tour of Homes in mid march. Natchez is a neat old-south town and the antebellum homes are fabulous. Many are B&B's--sounds romantic to me.

If you like casinos, Vicksburg is about an hour north and would be a good side trip.

Thanks to everyone for your responses. I've got some investigating to do since they all sound good.

Vinci - I had the same criteria for a trip that we are about to go on and we picked New Orleans. We live in Boston, wanted something warmer (though not necessarily hot) and wanted relatively short flights. New Orleans fit the bill and its someplace we are unlikely to ever take the kids. Got airfare from Boston for $210. Looking forward to eating well, drinking a little, sleeping late, gambling a little and a little sightseeing.
