I am looking for something really unique in Hawaii. I am looking for a hotel or something to do. My husband and I are taking a 10 day cruise around hawaii and then we are spending two nights over new years eve in Hawaii. We are looking for something different to do since we will do all the Hawaii things (Beach, Beach and Beach) during our cruise. Can you think of a great experience you had?

If you plan on staying on Oahu, then the big surf on the north side of Oahu might do the trick.

New Year's Eve on Oahu is supposed to be a fabulous celebration - my BF lives there and told me the 4th of July can't hold a candle to New Year's so if you're on Oahu you'll probably have a great time. Without knowing where you'll be spending your two nights it's kind of hard to say much else.

I am going to be getting off the ship at oahu, but for a great experience I will fly to the other islands. Any good hotels on Oahu that you can see the fireworks from your room? Thanks
