Travel to Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, Dakotas
I have always wanted to visit the Rocky Mountain area, preferably Wyoming, Idaho, Montana including the Dakotas. Is there is some sort of vacation package that is available? I prefer not to travel from where we live in the Northeast and would like to land in one location and start our journey to these destinations. Any travel recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

You are asking about an area/vision so vast that few have any sense for where you should begin, or where they should begin to guide you.
(there's 350 miles of Montana alone between the Rockies and a Dakota)
IF you have never been to/near the Rockies (on land) before, I think you should sorta limit yourself to Colorado and Wyoming, and perhaps land in Denver and drive something akin to a crazy-8 path...
... maybe seeing Telluride, Aspen and Vail to the south and/or west...
and Yellowstone, Jackson Hole, and maybe Salt Lake City to the north and west.
West Yellowstone is IN Montana, so you can meander further around that area, perhaps, but the Dakotas are too far-reaching to add very much to your journey.
Hope you can narrow your focus and then get some good ideas from others here.

Search this Forum for Road Trip to Rocky Mountains--somebody JUST posted a trip report on this topic. Heck, just scroll through posts or trip reports from the last 2-3 days and you will see it.
You have to do some research first.
