Stop The Madness!

I can't stand it! Poke me with a fork I'm done, get me out of this friggin' cold weather!

I want hot, sunny, humid and at least 80 degree days! I'm tired of cold.

I just got back less than two weeks ago and I am counting down the days until we go back.

Where is the figgin' cold weather? If its not in Minnesota or North Dakota some people might consider it warm for this time of year! It was -12 F three weeks ago here.

GoTravel, I feel for ya. Not to rub it in, but it's 80 degrees here, with a nice trade wind and bright, sunny days. However, I do have to put on my jacket when it hits 75 after the sun goes down.....brrrrr.

I sound like I'm in the tundra but I'm really not that far north of you guys.

I hate you Floridians with your warm weather, balmy breezes, good orange juice, pink flamingos, and good diving.

Hopefully we'll get back before the Miami boat show.

Actually, GoTravel, I'm a whole lot farther south than Florida. However, I still feel for ya. I can't handle much cold nowadays.

Hopefully it'll warm up where you're at soon! Have a great New Years!

11 below zero this morning. Nice fresh air=====keeps the rif raf out
Actually that cold is quite unusual for Northwest Montana.
Sit by the fire with a hot toady!!!
Also keeps the mosquitos down.

It has been awesome in DFW for the past few weeks. Seems to stay in the upper 50's, 60's and even 70 a week or so ago.
Not a cloud in the sky today.
I HATE the cold so I feel pretty damn lucky right now. I get back on the road in January... off to PDX where it will probably be miserable... then to DC on the 21st. Why can't I go to PHX in the winter?

GoTravel,
We were in Las Vegas two weeks ago. Temps were 30's in the a.m. Nevertheless, until yesterday, we still considered Vegas a possible retirement destination. Then we heard about the snow!

We are DEFINITELY retiring to the Scottsdale/Phoenix area!

Patrick, there is excellent dRiving between Card Sound Road and Key West IF you do not encounter a wreck, rain, and if you don't drive on a Sunday morning, Friday afternoon, day before a holdiday, day after a holiday, and Saturday after 9AM until 3PM.

Does that make you feel less farsighted? LOL!

Ahhh, GoTravel - we just made the Card Sound trip from Key Largo to Miami airport a couple weeks ago, only to break out of the cloud cover over our landing in Ohio to find out there had been about 2 inches of snow delivered the night before. I proceeded with MAJOR whining.......

Yea ccolor but it's 50+ degrees here in the buckeye capital today. If you don't like the weather in Ohio, wait it will change...

Leona: have you heard of the HEAT in Phoenix?

105 degrees in the shade at 7:30am. I kid you not! Those were the desert temperatures one summer day when I arrived from California!

A number of people in my company's branch office in Phoenix couldn't wait to be transferred to somewhere cooler!

Shop carefully for your retirement!

Leona- the snow in Vegas isn't common. It's usually quite nice this time of year. We've been in town since '99 and this is the first time we've seen the white stuff.

The temps right now are crazy, though. I agree with GoTravel- out with the cold, in with the warm! All of us poor desert rats are freezing our figurative tails off!
