Steve Klein's or Keg Steakhouse in Plano?

We are taking some family to dinner in a couple of weeks, and they want steak. We have taken them to a few in the past(III Forks, Chamberlain's, TX Land & Cattle, Salt Grass, etc.), and we're thinking of trying a new place. If you have eaten at either or both, please let me know what you think. I've read some reviews at other sites, so I wanted to throw this out here in case any fellow Fodorites have been. Thanks in advance!

Never been to Steve Klein or Keg. I recommend Randy's Steakhouse in Frisco. Nice setting with great steaks. A bit of a drive from Plano though.

I actually was also thinking of Randy's. I live in McKinney, so it's closer to our home. But we'll be in the 190/75 area that night. If we don't do Randy's this time, then DH and I will just do that on our own.

Christie--That's funny because Kirby's was the other other place we were thinking of. But that's the only place for which I have read less-than-stellar reviews. I have been there before, and I remember it well, but that was quite a bit of time ago.

Oh, and it's STEVE FIELD'S, not Steve Klein's. Dumb me.
