Please could someone give me the exact dates of Spring break in the US (I'm from U.K.)I understand that many students go down to Florida(Miami?) during this time??

Spring break runs from the first week in March until the week after Easter. Schools vary on times.

If you are trying to go to Florida without experiencing drunken college students, the Gulf coast is a better bet.

Druken college students go to more than just Miami. Most Atlantic Ocean cities, Keys, Disney World, New Orleans, South Padre Island Texas, Cancun (Mexico).

Warm places without drunken college students would be the more "historic" areas like Savannah Georgia or Charleston South Carolina.

I live in Panama City, FL and we get spring breakers from Michigan, Indianna, Iowa, etc around the last two weeks of February. The colleges of the southeastern states usually come here in mid-March.
