Seafood in Cincinnati...
I wanted to take my dad somewhere for lunch for Father's Day. He loves seafood, so I thought of Mike Fink's. But, I wanted to see if there were any other recommendations that I have forgotten. I haven't lived in Cincy for 10 yrs.
Thank you!

Thanks for the recommendation Linda -- hadn't heard anything about Napa Grill, but it looks interesting (we're always looking for new places to eat).
To luv2plan, we generally go to Mike Fink's once a year during the summer, but haven't been there in a couple of years, so I can't really comment on it.
It is nice to be on the river in the summer. Mike Fink's is unique to the area, but there are plenty of places to go for seafood -- most are probably chains. There is a McCormick and Schmidts now across from Fountain Square, Mitchell's Fish House in Newport on the Levy, a Chart House on the river in Newport, there's a fish house in Mt. Adams that people like -- could go on and on. Could you kind of feel him out and see if there's someplace he would like to try.

Oceanaire is going to open a restaurant there, but not, I fear, in time for Father's Day 2007. Maybe next year.
Usually the best restaurants in a city do a great job with fish, even if they aren't specifically a "fish restaurant."

Thanks all! Dad likes crab legs, prawns, mussels, clam chowder, crab cakes etc. He said Mike Finks would be good, he doesn't go there usually. I was considering trying someplace new, that he hasn't been to.
Thanks again, I'll mention these others, but he will probably prefer going someplace he has been before.
I took him to Maisonette a few years ago for Father's Day, but now, sadly, it is gone.
Thanks again!
