Sea World San Antonio Spring Break best day

My sister and family are visiting the week of TX Spring Break (March 16-20). They want to visit Sea World San Antonio at least one day when they visit.

Last year, they visited at Easter and we went to Sea World on the Friday before Easter and it was a madhouse there. I do not wish to repeat that.

So, which day is the least crowded during Spring Break? I know it will be crowded that week regardless, but which day is the best. I was thinking perhaps Tuesday the 17th. I figure the weekends will be way too crowded.

I need some advice on this. Thanks.

We're going to be in SA the same week. Is it spring break in Texas that week? I kind of thought maybe it wasn't, because Fiesta Texas isn't even open that week, except on the weekends. (Someone please correct me if I am wrong.) I guess just try for mid-week, rather than a weekend to beat the crowd...

It is going to be crowded no matter when you go since most of Texas has Spring Break that week (or the week before). Just be patient and wear your sunscreen!

ChristieP,

Thanks. Would any day be less crowded than the others?

Actually, Spring Break for most schools in San Antonio is currently going on (March 9 thru 13). It should help things a bit that you'll be going the following week, at least you won't have to deal with all of the local families
