Sabino Canyon Hike Tucson

I can't find much info about this hike. I find a few people that tell how they have hiked it.

I can't find what time of day it opens?

I read about a tram, but when and how often does it run? Am I missing something by taking the tram? I don't know what the tram does really?

Seven Falls is located in Bear Canyon, adjacent to Sabino. Sabino Canyon is large and has has many, many hiking trails to choose from. The visitors' center can give you information.

It's a beautiful canyon. I took a tram tour and there were others who got off the tram at various spots for hikes. The place seemed to be staffed by volunteers. Give them a call for information: (520) 749-2861

You'll be glad you did.

Oops. My AAA TourBook says visitor reception is open 8:30-4:30 daily. The cost (according to AAA) is $5 per car and $3 for the shuttle to the Bear Canyon trailhead. The canyon tour is $8. The number they give is 520 749-8700

spiro, The visitor center opens at 8:30, but you can drive in and park much earlier. On a weekend that parking lot is very packed by 9:00 AM. Your annual National Parks pass is good for Sabino.

Seven Falls is a great hike, one of many in Sabino. There is no need to take the shuttle to the trailhead if you don't want to. You can walk to it from the main parking lot in 30 minutes or so. Use the big trail that is to the right of the visitor center, as noted in the HappyTrvlr link.
