RV Trip from Wisconsin to Pacific Northwest
We are taking a road trip to the pacific northwest in August, pulling a Bambi Airstream with either a jeep or suburban. We are a bit worried about pulling the camper through the mountains and looking for suggestions on the best route. We are not too concerned about our initial destination as we will spend some time exploring the area.

Describe the Jeep. I hope it is not the short wheelbase with a 4 cylinder engine. The Chevy Suburban will handle an even larger Airstream but will get much worse gas mileage.
Make sure the tongue weight is in the range of 10-15% of the total trailer weight. Your local RV dealer should be able to help with which tow vehicle will work best.
My parents towed a 27' Airstream up out of Death Valley with a 440 cid Dodge.
