Radisson in Alexandria Va

Hi. I am considering staying at the Radisson Hotel Old Town in Alexandria, which is offering a rate of $59/night. It's at 901 N. Fairfax. Is the neighborhood safe? It's supposed to be within walking distance to Old Town but I'm wondering what I'll be walking through. Also I'm guessing this is not within walking distance of the metro? Any comments or advice? I'm looking for something under $100, but within a 15 min. walk to metro.

The Radisson Old Town is in the Historic Old town district. It is a 3 star hotel. They have free Shuttle to and from the Reagan National Airport and you can pick up the Metro there. I think you got a great location at a great price.

It's several blocks to the King St.stop, and you might do it in 15 min. but you'd have to be marching. Fine to do in the day; less good at night.
