private driver for elderly man
My father wants to go to DC to see the WWII monument and the museums and he doesn't want any company. He's in his 80's and we'd like to arrange for a private car and driver for two days. Does anyone have any referrals for this type of service?

Where does your father live? You can Google private driver, livery, limo driver, or look them up in the yellow pages. How you get a recommendation is another story. I would check their driver's license for a safety record. You could call a local Senior Center and ask this same question perhaps.

Hello stotz, you might also call the Chamber of Commerce. I have gotten good information from various Chamber of Commerces over the years. Even got the name of a private pilot and plane from the Reno, NV CoC some years ago when I had to find a way to get my stepson to a small town in NCA when his mother was dying and all the roads were closed due to a bad snowstorm. Best wishes.

Here's one option for you too. Even though he doesn't want anyone with him, they may do just the car service
