Philly sports fans: bar needed...and running route.

Hey there my Philly friends! I'll be staying in the Washington Square area (I'm going to check out the new Hotel Monaco) and want to find a good bar for sports watching. My team will be playing in their conference tournament so I'd like to find a place with multiple tvs because it's not likely that somewhere with only one or two is going to have the CAA tourney on. Any suggestions?

I'd also like a 3-4 mile running route. If I were up in Rittenhouse, I'd run on the Schuylkill River Trail. Is there anything comparable along the Delaware?

Thank you!

Hotel Monaco is at 433 Chestnut. When I did a search for sports bars in the area, I found this one
http://www.buffalobilliards.com/philadelphia/index.html
about which I know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING other than what is stated in their URL. It does mention they have 17 HDTV's, so that (at least) fits your bill.

No. Running in the area is possible, but not along an established path.

Thank you, PaulRabe. Buffalo Billiards looks like an interesting place. I'm fascinated by the Big Buck Hunter & Golden Tee. It's sounds like something we'd have down here in Virginny, whatever it is.

The Monaco has a map with jogging/walking trails so I'm set there. Still have to find a bar. The one here at the hotel does not appear to have TVs.

Thank you for the suggestions, PaulRabe. We had a great time and I would like to write a trip report but I always have the best intentions and the reports never get written.

I asked our concierge for suggestions and he also named Buffalo Billiards, so good call on that one. We were tired after walking back from dinner at Garces Trading Co and didn't feel like going back out so we turned on the hotel tv hoping to watch the game on chan 10 which was listed as carrying it but, of course, hotels don't have the standard channel line-up and we weren't able to find the game after all. My team did win that night, and with telephone updates from DH, I was satisfied.

The running route on the hotel map took me down Market to the bridge over to Penns Landing. It suggested a route along the river but it looked very quiet down there on an early chilly Sat morning so I stayed on the bridge and crossed back to Chestnut and down to Front. I did see someone running up to the Ben Franklin which seems like it would be fun. I didn't know there was a pedestrian walkway on the bridge.

Thanks again for the suggestions.
