Kayla,
I'd look in citysearch.com; lots of New Yorkers look in here for restaurant information. When you do a search, their "picks" are pretty good. timeoutny.com is also a really good source of info.
Most of the restaurants in midtown/Time Square near that area are pretty pricey, but here are a few: Ruby Foos, the Red Eye Grill (both are pretty expensive but fabulous food and great service).
I would definitely look at citysearch, though...

Hope that helps,

Foley's Fish House has the most amazing view of Times Square but may be a little boring for some. The food is excellent and you can walk to most shows. Be sure to ask for a table by the window. Another great place is China Grill. Very sleek and modern with lots of young people. The average meal at both these places is $46, but that factors in only one drink. You could also try Hudson Cafeteria, not really a cafeteria, which is part of the new Ian Schrager hotel. Right now, it's one of the hottest spots in town. Go early enough to have a drink in the cool hotel lobby. The pricing here is listed as moderate.

I totally agree with Howard, Virgil's is great. They will get you in and out in time for the show. Atmosphere is fun, casual, and the food is great. We eat there all the time. There is also a John's Pizza in the neighborhood - good italian & fun atmosphere.

Yea, Virgil's is great! What about Carmine's on 44th? big plates of Italian food served family style in a boisterous, noisy, and fun atmosphere--a real bargain at the same time. I also thing Ruby Foo's would be fun if you are into contemporary Asian.
