Try the Magic Castle Hotel. All suites walking distance to theater and have AAA rates. It's not as fancy as the other two, but very nice and has a nice pool.

Hollywood Roosevelt and the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel are both class act establishments. Can't go wrong with either one.

I love the Roosevelt. Old and a little funky but it has really beautiful decor. I love their pool area.
By the way one of the ghosts that haunts the hotel is Montgomery Clift. If you love old Hollywood history stay at the Roosevelt. I really like the cabana rooms.
