Marriott Timeshares Questions and Opinions

Please! I would really like to hear from someone who has recently bought a Marriott timeshare. I am considering buying one. One of my questions is will the point system be honored for a resale? I am sure that the initial points for buying one will not be valid from Marriott. BUT will the points for not using the place in a given week be honored even though I did not purchase directly from Marriott? (P.S. I have already been admonished for asking something from a really old post, I don't need to be chastised again.) For those who will answered my questions about timeshares or kindly give an opinion, THANK YOU!

To get detailed info about Marriott Timeshares go to www.tug2.net. Click on BBS Login & scroll down to Marriott Resort System.

Huh? I saw that thread and have no idea why you think you were being either admonished or chastised. I think you need to lighten up if you're going to post on a public forum!

You were wise however to repost on a thread that wasn't 7 years old, and hopefully you will get some good answers.

marlib, also go to timeshareforums.com

A lot of the Marriot timeshare owners also post on this place.

We have a Marriott timeshare and bought it as a resale, which is the way I'd suggest going. As others have said, tug2.com is the place where you'll get all (and then some) of the information you might want.
