is it legal to bring in walkie talkies into rome

Going to Roma finally in 3 days and wanted to keep in touch with my son walkie talkies
can we bring them in from the usa?

This is best off on the Europe board, but no, you can't.

Agree - you should post this on the Europe board. But US frequencies are not legal in most parts of Europe . . . . . . .
