Thinking about a vacation at the end of June to Hilton Head and would like recommendations on where to stay for $200.00 or less/night. Need 2-3 bedrooms and kitchen so condo facility might be best....

We have gone twice in Mid-May and stayed at the Island Club on Folly Field Road. We're going back this May for the third time. In May the price for a 2 bedroom 3 bath townhouse is about $800 for a week. There are three pools including a nice size kiddie pool, several tennis courts, bike rentals,a basketball court, outdoor grills etc. The Island club has beachfront which is only a very short walk from any of the condos. They also have some three bedroom accomodations. We have enjoyed it very much.

I prefer the plantations over the public beaches. We liked Palmetto Dunes Plantation. We used "www.islandgetaway.com" realtors and were very pleased with their properties and prices. Their website will give you lots of info on Hilton Head so you might just want to look at it even if you don't use them. Good Luck!

Gated communities (sea pines and palmetto dunes) have the best beaches and bike trails(especially Sea Pines).....Call Sea Pines @1-800-sea pines or Palmetto Dunes Resort......843 785 1161.......I belive both resorts have web sites!
