Help Locate New Orleans Restauant?

Last time I was in New Orelans, I went to this seafood restaurant in the French Quarter. It was very simple, a few blocks off Canal Street and I believe around the corner from the Ritz. They served excellent shrimp, oysters, crawfish, fried zuchini and red potatoes - that's what we had. Again, the decor was basic and simple, but the food was really good.

Does this ring a bell to anyone? I'd like to go next week.

Thank you!

It could be Red Fish Grill on Bourbon Street. It is a Brennan's restaurant, and they have a website.

I've been to Red Fish Grill and did not love it, but thanks for responding.

BetsyinKY - Ding, ding, ding! Thank you so much. I googled Deanies and viewed their menu...this is most definetly the restaurant we visited last time.

Last time I was in New Orleans, many moons ago, Deanie's was in Bucktown - which I presume is no longer there. Are you saying the Deanie's in the French Quarter is of the same genre? If so, that's great news!

Yes, they opened a Deanie's on d'Iberville right there in the Quarter. I've eaten there, but not in Bucktown. But i haven't been there since Katrina--I'm sure it's still there, though.
