Rave: SIS and BIL just bought a house in Anguilla with 180 degree view of St Martin/St Barths.

Rant: They are on Saba today in a "hurricane" and cannot get home as planned.

Rave: Charitable donations of 25 years worth of unsold household stuff and new sales tax deduction generated a nice federal tax refund for the first time ever. SO and I are planning our trip to Anguilla.

Rant: My $severalK. paintings are worth about $1.50 - reflects my taste.
My good stuff sits unsold on consignment as the market here is awful.

Rave: I got several (Navy Blue and Gold).

Rave: AA's one day MX sale yesterday.

Rant: Could not pay for my FM-2 Visa with MXPs.

Rant: Utah's "upside-down" Medicaid experiment paying for sniffles and sneezes, but no catastrophic illness.
Their plan is to let the doctors and hospitals provide charitable care.

Rant: Snow, snow and more snow...blah! Give me Spring please!

Rave: Planning Disney/Universal/SeaWorld trip for May! Increased from 3 to 6 travelers - yea!

Rant: Too many options to consider - spending WAY too much time researching and contemplating where to stay!

Rave: Got 6 tickets to NASCAR night race in Richmond, which will be a great start to our driving trip to sunny Orlando!

Rant: More snow. Judging from the size of the snow bank in the parking lot outside my window, I should have a view of a dirty ugly pile of snow until June.

Rave: At least school wasn't cancelled - the kids don't have school.

Rave: Went in town to see a movie and dinner with a friend last weekend. Saw Sideways and checked out several new or new to me places in Boston. Also saw Million Dollar Baby with same friend on Tuesday. Now for the first time ever I've actually seen Oscar nominated movies before the Oscars!!! I'll be routing for Million Dollar Baby. - Because of my Irish speaking dad I knew what Ma Cuschla meant as those were some of the final words he said to me before he passed away.

Ohhh, Bennie how touched you must have been when you heard "Ma Cuschla" in the movie and thought of your father. "Millon Dollar Baby' was some movie, huh?!? I hope it wins too.

Rant: Sick AGAIN for the 4th time in about 5 weeks. My daughter is sick, too. ITs not a fun day.

RAVE: And I hope I'm not jinxing it as we haven't purchased tix yet but our trip to England and Wales is almost certainly ON for September!

RAVE: Its almost 60 degrees here in beautiful Colorado!

Rave: It is absolutely beautiful weather today.

Rant: By Sunday there will be yet more rain.

Rant: The rain is causing a major flare up of my RSI & I've been in constant pain for weeks.

Rave: DF (dear fiance) is coming home tonight!

Rave: We're going for a drive in the country tomorrow (as long as the beautiful weather holds out).

Rave:the daffs have begun to bloom. The perennials I worried I might have overpruned have begun to leaf out.

Rave: a weekend off. I have one continuing education class tomorrow am and then it's wine tasting Saturday pm of Napa Valley Cabarnets. Sunday is the family bday party for our 13 yo neice who is a lovely young woman.

Rant: I'm with jor on the European "tour".

Rant: the death of a young patient this week. Please consider donating bone marrow if you can. Support stem cell research please.

If John Kerry were elected, all liberals would be praising this european "tour". Nobody would call it rhetoric.

seetheworld - yes it was kind of amazing but in a good way.

Rave: Sunbathing on the Oregon coast in February.

Rant: The high likelihood of drought this summer.

Rant: I spend way too much time at Fodors and day dreaming about all the trips I could take if I had no pets, the kids were grown, and more $$$!

Rave: Fodors, and all the posters here for helping me daydream!

Rave: The rain has stopped at least for a few days and looks like the weekend will be nice.

Rant: All the people who have suffered loss of life or property during all the rain and mudslides.

Rant: My grass and vegetation is so high and everytime it dries out so it can be cut, it rains again.

Rant: Just got home from working a convention (last weekend) and now have to work one this Sunday. Hate giving up those weekend days.

Rave: Everyone's health is good.

It's a springlike day here in the Shenandoah Valey. Roads are clear but the snow covered mountains east and west of us are sparkling in the sunshine.

Rant: Southeast Florida traffic! We just did a two day theatre jaunt to Sarasota and it took us three hours to get there by the Interstate (normally about an hour and a half). From Naples to Ft. Myers, I don't think we went over 40 on the interstate -- no accident, just bumper to bumper traffic. Then outside of Sarasota there was an accident and it took us 20 minutes to get between two exits about 3 miles!

Rave: Saw three wonderful shows at Asolo Theatre. We really do have Broadway calibre theatre in Florida! The current production of Broadway Bound was better than the production I saw in New York and left me weeping (which didn't happen in New York although I saw Joan Rivers, not Linda Lavin in the mother's role). A Sherlock Holmes Play was good and creative, and a production of the very funny black comedy Smell of the Kill was just great!

Rant: Why in a city like Sarasota with all the theatre, ballet, and opera going on, are there no good places that serve dinner AFTER theatre?

Rant: Winter is still alive and well in NJ, last night's 6&quot; snowstorm made for more than an hour to get home 7 miles from my office. More snow expected on Monday too...

Rant: Because of miserable road conditions I was not able to run errands I needed to get done. Will pay the price for procrastination &amp; weather today. Too much to do, no time to get it done.

I'd be looking more forward to this weekend's fun more if I wasn't behind the 8 ball with my preparations! :(

Rave: Even though it's cold, sun is shining...

Ryan, hope everything comes out ok with your tests &amp; they can figure out the best course of treatment for what ails you!

Patrick I know you meant to say SOUTHWEST traffic,,,,,but southeast traffic is horrendous here too LOL :-D. Last I heard on the west side they, were going to widen 75 between Naples past Ft Myers....it is not soon enough IMO!
