Rant - Have to put 16 year old kitty to sleep tonight. Had kidney problems and lost an eye to glaucoma last year but SUDDENLY just failed. wont' eat, wont' respond, blood tests are off the chart.

Rave - won $200 gift certificate at furniture store where I bought furniture for new house. So now I can go back and spend more money.

Vicky, So sorry about your cat. After going through that numerous times with our dogs and cats I know how difficult it is. Focus on how much joy your cat gave you in those 16 years and how lucky you have been to have your cat for that increadible amount of time. I only wish I was that lucky with my pets.

I am always on the outside looking in - since you seem to be a group of friends please tell the mystery person I said a prayer for her too - a generic Fodorite one since no one hints who it is.
