Fodorite Shared Calendar
I have created a shared calendar that all can use to enter their GTG's, vacations, birthdays. Hopefully the link below will take you there. You are free to add in your items- include your screen name and keep it short. Will topp every day so people will begin to use it. Save the link as one of your favorites and then add in your events as they come up. I have added my trip in March 2009 so check that out to get an idea of what to put in the calendar.

I'm trying to keep to the default colors for each category so the calendar does not get too busy with all different colors- that way its easy to spot the GTG, birthdays, vacations. If there is another category - I can create and add that as well.

You will need to add 2 events. Click on the day, click on create. then choose category- leave colors alone please- add your description then submit. Then click on the day again and do another create (do not edit) and choose GTG as the category and do the same. This time use the pop us field and add your URL (I have not tested whether the URL will post properly). The pop up field allows greater text entry when you move over the day. Try that and see what you get- you will get the hang of it. I'm trying to keep with the default colrs for the 4 categories so that the calendar does not fill up with dozens of colors. Also the default colors will focus you easily on GTG's , vacations, birthdays, etc.

Fascinating. How can I access this site to create one for other uses? I tried www.my.calendar.com which did not work.
